Our Team

Mitchell Real Estate & Appraisals is comprised of a team of experts in the real estate industry.  Founded originally as a residential appraisal company in the midlands of South Carolina, we are rooted with strong ethics and a continuous learning environment based on current professional real estate standards & practices.  Serving as a sales team with Richland Realty & Associates, LLC and other premier investment partners, MitchellREA provides an unparalled depth of experience and ability to serve you.
John J. Mitchell, III
Licensed Real Estate Appraiser & Realtor with over twenty (20) years experience in real estate investments spanning California, Tennessee, & the Carolinas.  Over five (5) years experience in residential appraisals in South Carolina.  FHA registered & approved.  Also serving as sales affiliate of Richland Realty, LLC.

Prior experience includes:
Sales & Marketing Manager for IBM in RTP, NC (1991 - 1996)
Quality Manager for TVA-Nuclear in Knoxville, TN (1988 - 1990)
Engineer for Stealth Bomber (DoD Secret) in Los Angeles, CA (1985 - 1987)
Graduated in 1985 from USC with BS Degree in Computer Science (Honors)
Tanakya L. Bell
Real Estate Appraiser with an emphasis on rural & deferred maintenance properties.  Additional experience with raw land, condominiums, & new construction appraisals. Prior training & experience in real estate sales & mortgage loan processing.  Completed National USPAP coursework & familiar with strict loan underwriting demands.
